1861 Census: Not found, although the rest of the family were at Bridge Hill Road, Newborough, Northamptonshire

 

1871 Census: Sophia was living with her husband James and children Richard, Thomas, and William, and Sarah her mother at Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire.

 

1881 Census: States Sophia was born in Dogsthorpe, Northampton, UK, and was living at Bartholomew Street with her husband James, daughter Jane, son Richard, and mother. The 1901 Census states Parston was her place of birth.

 

1891 Census: Sophia is at 19 Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire, living with her husband, and children Richard and Jane and neice Sophia.

 

1901 Census: Sophia is at 16a Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire, living with her husband a publican, and son Richard

1911 Census: Sophia is at 10 Kimbers Alms Houses, Cheap St, Newbury, Berkshire with her husband. It is interesting to note that from this census it states they have had three children all still living. It is assumed that Thomas is the one not included, and would also indicate he was registered as Thomas Titman.
