1841 Census: At High Street, Isleworth, Hounslow, Middlesex with her daughter Phoebe (surname spelt presumably incorrectly as Banister). Elizabeth was recorded as being a schoolmistress. There is also a Sarah Powell (assistant?) living there.
1851 Census: At Church Street, Walton On Thames, Chertsey, Surrey with Thomas, daughter Phoebe, Ann and Thomas children from Thomas' 1st marriage, and son Warwick from her marriage with Thomas.
1861 Census:With Thomas at Common Side, Walton On Thames, Surrey. The census also shows Isabell Bower (Granddaughter) with them. The connection to Isabella has not been established.
1871 Census: With Thomas and granddaughter Gertrude at Common Side, Walton Upon Thames, Surrey. A birth registration of Gertrude has not yet been found.
1881 Census: Elizabeth is living in Park Road, Esher, Surrey with Thomas. Staying there at the time of the census is granddaughter Phoebe.
No record has been found of Elizabeth's marriage to a Bannister (her surname when she married Thomas Freebody as a widow). However it is known from census records that she had a daughter called Phoebe Bannister and the following baptism records have been found:
