A relative said Reginald went to Canada. This has not been proven. However, if he did he returned as "The News" in Portsmouth reported in May 1973:

"Mr Reg Mulcock, secretary of Portsmouth Football Club for more than ten years, has died suddenly.

Mr. Mulcock, of Oakwood Road, Hilsea, joined Pompey as accountant-assistant secretary on retiring from the Navy in 1954 and two years later succeeded Mr. Phil Harris as secretary.

He remained in the position until May 1967 when the club's organization was re-shuffled.

Mr. Mulcock, who was 67, leaves a widow and two sons."
