Birth (Date obtained from his father's service records), and Albert was the twin of Warwick Wellington Arthur Freebody. Albert changed his name to Daniel Beltayne. When and why Albert changed his name to Daniel Beltayne is not known

 

Daniel served with the 13th Field Company Royal Canadian Engineers.

It is known that for a period of time he lived in the USA with his wife and two children. He was deported from the USA in 1947 after "overstaying his time".

 

The address: 1131 Yakima Avenue, Seattle, King County, Washington was the address mentioned in the Divorce of Daniel and Rlyta..

 

A letter dated 24/06/1954 requesting access to his ex-wife, and children in the US, mentioned he was deported from the US in 1947. At the time of the letter, Daniel was working at the Lotus Hotel, 455 Abbott Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The letter is signed Daniel Sherwood Delani-Beltayne.

 

His divorce papers were stamped as filed on 30/11/1953.
